Association for Women Empowerment and Child Rights (AWAC) was established in 1998 as a non-profit voluntary social development organization it is registered as a non-political welfare organization under the Department of Social Services and NOG Affairs Bureau of Government of Bangladesh with the commitment of “ Ensuring women empowerment and establishment of child rights and socio-economic development of the disadvantaged in the community” in all its work AWAC is committed to the principle of self actualization and social consciousness to realize their potentialities and are motivated to reorder their lives.
